Our Story
Learning, at its very best, leads to lasting behaviour change and measurable results. That belief has guided The Virtual Training Team from day one.
When founders John and Catherine set up VTT in 2017, they’d already spent years inside the world of corporate learning, watching too much training pass on information without creating real change. People left sessions feeling inspired but soon slipped back into old habits. They set out to change that.
Drawing on decades of experience and behavioural science, they built VTT around one big question: *What if training could be designed to deliver genuine, measurable change back in the workplace?*
Today, that question still drives everything we do, only now we do it on a much bigger scale. VTT has grown into a global learning design and delivery team with a dedicated Design Studio, Coordination Team, learning specialists and data analysts, and a network of brilliant coaches across the world. We deliver workshops and programmes in multiple languages, across time zones, and for clients spanning every industry sector.
At our core, we still believe what we did at the start: that learning should lead to behaviour change. Our work blends psychology, learning science and practical application to create training that doesn’t just inform, it transforms.

Responsibility
Growing a business is demanding. You’ve got to push forwards at great speed, upgrade, invest, hire, and more besides.
But that’s not all that matters.
There’s so much businesses can do for communities and the people that live in them. At VTT, we take our social responsibilities seriously. Here are just some of the charities and projects we’ve been involved with:
Na’amal
We’re proud to work with Na’amal, a not-for-profit organisation that helps refugees find work no matter where they are. They do this by building programmes which support refugees and other underrepresented communities through skills training, mentorship, and remote work placement opportunities.
Working With Cancer
We’ve been supporting Working With Cancer by equipping their trainers with practical delivery skills and learning science through our Train the Trainer programme. This helps them expand their reach and continue offering high-quality support to people and organisations dealing with cancer at work.
Education for all
Every year since 2020, VTT has sponsored Education For All. Education For All is a Moroccan NGO that builds and runs girls’ boarding houses near secondary schools. This means that girls from rural families have the opportunity to continue their education after primary school, which can transform lives and communities/
Armed forces convenant
We are a member of the Armed forces covenant, part of a pledge ensuring that those who serve or have served in the Armed forces, and their families, are treated fairly. The covenant supports members of this community in a number of areas, ensuring that they have the same access to government services as other citizens.
