How we’re leading the way in accessible training
We left align all text, avoid italics, and use dyslexia-friendly type colours to support participants with difficulties around reading.
Our brand colours provide 4:5:1 contrast – enough contrast to help those with visual difficulties whilst not overstraining the eye.
Our brand font is sans-serif based, meaning it is easier to read for those who may otherwise struggle.
We establish psychological safety through comprehensive pre-comms and expert facilitation.
Our handouts include all the key takeaways from each workshop, meaning participants can refer to their learning at their own pace.
We reduce cognitive overload by prioritising white space and guiding participant attention to where it matters most.
We deliver key messages through multiple media (copy/icons/alt text/facilitation etc), supporting transfer/learning preferences.
We avoid using colloquialisms and mean what we say, helping neuro-divergent participants to understand our content.
Our use of language and iconography is representative of all.
