More Information
Training teams are often handed a technical deck created by another department and told they need to use it for training. The information may be accurate and important, but the deck wasn’t necessarily designed with learners or live delivery in mind, and the trainer may not have permission to change it.
These decks are usually designed to provide signed-off information, not to optimise learning. When learners are trying to read, listen and work out what matters at the same time, cognitive overload can quickly take over.
