The modern workplace is full of influencing opportunities from recruitment, management and leading change to sales, marketing and so much more, so it’s important that we can tap into this ability.

This virtual workshop explores the differences between ‘influence’, ‘persuasion’ and ‘power’ before delving into some of the most effective influencing skills and styles.

By understanding the different influencing styles and the science that underpins them, participants will be able to boost their influencing skills and select the most appropriate approach for different situations. They will also examine the power of rhetoric as a tool to effectively influence colleagues and clients.

Throughout the workshop, participants will have the opportunity to apply learning to a real-life situation where they need to influence someone at work and get strategic in using different influencing styles and rhetorical devices to approach this.
