Impact

On your business

  • Improved employee effectiveness – employees will recognise their own strengths and natural preferences and know how to use these to facilitate better ways of working.
  • Increased wellbeing – by knowing their MBTI, employees are better equipped to deal with stress, conflict and problem solving.
  • Positive relationships – having awareness of their MBTI, and knowing that we all have difference preferences, enables employees to communicate more effectively with others, thereby fostering positive relationships and connections.

As a result of this workshop participants will

  • Recognise the importance of knowing their MBTI and how they can benefit from using this information.
  • Consider the four dichotomies of MBTI and understand how their own preferences influence their behaviour, both in and out of work.
  • Ascertain the demands placed on them to operate differently to their natural preferences.
  • Reflect on the information and insights gained and explore the difference it will make to know their preferences.
  • Identify actions they can take to align themselves with their natural preferences.

The Myers-Briggs Personality Type Indicator (MBTI) is a self-report inventory designed to identify a person’s personality type, strengths, and preferences. No personality type is right or wrong, and when employees are aware of their own preferences they can learn to communicate more effectively. In this workshop, participants will review the science and four dichotomies of MBTI and explore how these dichotomies relate to their personalities.

They will explore the demands placed on them as part of their day-to-day role and how they might operate differently to our natural preferences. Participants will leave with a plan of action including how to use the information learned to align more to their natural preferences and get more from their way of working.
