This workshop is a one-stop shop for any new manager looking to springboard their career to early, and sustainable, success. Across 100 minutes participants will acquire a toolkit comprised of some of the key nuts-and-bolts needed to be a successful manager in today’s working climate, including how to set out their stall and best practise tips for what comes next.
Participants will discover some of the common challenges that face junior managers and how to overcome them and understand the importance of setting clear expectations, and how to do so.
In addition, participants will receive actionable guidance on the successful ownership and prioritisation of personal and team workflow and decision-making.
Finally, participants will consider the importance of managing with empathy, reflecting on their role in delivering a psychologically safe working environment in which team members are equipped to succeed at all levels.
