We love participants coming to virtual training with differing personalities and quirks. Sometimes though small quirks can interfere with the group dynamics or success of a learning experience. The over-contributor, the under-contributor, the multi-tasker… we’ve dealt with them all! Add in to the mix some nervous learners, camera-shy participants and over-sharers and then the skill of the virtual trainer can be tested to the max!
This masterclass explores how to design and deliver virtual training in such a way that tricky behaviour is less likely to where participants are engaged, involved and want to learn. We also consider techniques to apply ‘in the moment’ that minimise challenging or unhelpful behaviours whilst maintaining a positive learning dynamic and psychological safety.
