More Information
Trust supports stronger relationships, better conversations and more effective collaboration. Yet it can be weakened quickly when people appear unprepared, communicate inconsistently or focus more on their own priorities than on the person in front of them. Building Trust With Clients explores the behaviours that help professionals earn confidence from the first interaction onwards.
Participants consider how warmth and competence shape first impressions and identify practical ways to show credibility, reliability, empathy and genuine interest. They also explore the Trust Equation, considering the relationship between business trust and personal trust and reflecting on an existing client or stakeholder relationship to recognise what is already working and identify specific opportunities to strengthen it. Finally, participants explore common communication styles and consider how different people prefer to receive information, discuss options and make decisions.
They leave with practical ways to flex their communication, build stronger connections and create better outcomes for themselves, their clients or stakeholders and their organisation.
