More Information
Trust is the foundation of effective working relationships. After all, strong trust results in improved collaboration, open communication and increased performance As well as this, research consistently shows that high-trust environments are linked to greater engagement, wellbeing and productivity, making trust a critical capability for individuals and teams alike.
Yet trust is rarely built by accident. First impressions, reliability, credibility and everyday behaviours all influence how others judge us. And this often happens before they fully evaluate our message! Small “trust wobbles” can damage confidence in relationships, and without awareness, it can be difficult to understand why a relationship feels strained or transactional rather than strong and collaborative.
This workshop explores how trust is formed, maintained and repaired. Participants will examine the impact of first impressions, explore different types of trust in professional relationships and apply a model to analyse the trust in their own working relationships. They will also learn how to identify signs that trust may be wobbling and consider practical steps to rebuild and strengthen it.
Participants will leave with greater clarity about how their behaviours shape trust and a set of practical actions to improve key relationships. They will gain tools to build credibility, increase reliability and deepen connection – creating stronger, more resilient professional partnerships.
