More Information
Clear contracting is essential for anyone working with stakeholders, partners or cross-functional teams. People are more likely to collaborate with confidence when expectations are explicit – and projects are far more likely to stay on track! With poor communication linked to over half of project failures, contracting conversations are a capability no organisation can afford to ignore.
In practice, though, these conversations are often rushed or avoided. As a result, responsibilities can be blurred and decisions might bounce between people. This can easily come to a head when priorities change or pressure increases – resulting in rework tension and frustration, slowing delivery and straining relationships.
This workshop provides simple, practical tools to create clarity early and reset when things shift. Participants will explore the behaviours that derail scope, including ownership fog and decision ping-pong, and learn how to spot and address them quickly. They will learn a clear structure for contracting conversations which makes expectations visible and workable.
Participants will leave better equipped to handle tricky conversations, align expectations and work more effectively with others – leading to fewer misunderstandings, stronger relationships and smoother delivery across teams.
