Generative AI is expanding to become part of everyday work, and its influence over how people write, analyse and make decisions is growing. This is exciting – AI has the potential to save a lot of precious time and spark innovative ideas! However, to those not yet skilled in using a critical eye, it introduces real risks.
The challenge is that AI sounds so very confident. And, with tools getting faster and more persuasive, the ability to slow down and question outputs has never been more important. Without critical thinking, it’s easy to assume all outputs are accurate, or to overlook weak logic and invented data – often without leaders realising how frequently this is happening or what’s being sent out unchecked.
This workshop will give teams practical ways to stay in control of AI-supported work. Participants will explore why AI gets things wrong, alongside the human habits that make errors more likely. They will learn the LEAP framework to test logic, evidence, attribution and perspective, and practise spotting red flags in realistic AI outputs. The session will also build better prompting and checking habits that fit into day-to-day workflows.
Participants will leave with sharper critical thinking, clearer accountability and simple habits that interrupt overreliance on AI. As well as this, they will be better equipped to challenge outputs, improve quality, and confidently own the final result.
