More Information
Emotional intelligence is widely recognised as one of the strongest predictors of leadership effectiveness. It shapes how managers build trust, handle conflict, support resilience and create environments where people feel able to contribute fully. Strong emotional intelligence leads to open communication in teams, as well as the ability to challenge ideas constructively and perform at a higher level.
Yet emotional intelligence is often overlooked in day-to-day leadership practice. Under pressure, managers may react rather than reflect, unintentionally creating defensiveness, silence or misunderstanding within their teams. Without an awareness of the impact their behaviour has on others, even capable managers can struggle to build the trust and openness needed for high performance.
This practical workshop will help managers understand and strengthen their emotional intelligence in real workplace situations. Participants will explore how their reactions, communication style and mindset influence team dynamics, and they will learn techniques to increase self-awareness, regulate responses and respond more intentionally in challenging moments.
Participants will leave with greater insight into the impact they have on others and practical strategies they can apply immediately. By developing emotional intelligence, they strengthen relationships, improve communication and create team environments where people feel able to speak up, collaborate and perform at their best.
