More Information
Coaching conversations play a vital role in development; strengthening performance and building trust between managers and their teams. When used well, they create space for reflection, learning and meaningful progress – even in fast-moving, hybrid working environments where time is limited.
In reality, however, coaching is often squeezed or unfocused. Busy managers struggle to protect their time, and as a result, rushed conversations drift without reaching the real issue. Without a clear structure, sessions can feel well-intentioned but ineffective, limiting their impact on performance and development.
This workshop introduces a forensic coaching approach designed to get to the heart of issues quickly and productively. Participants will learn a focused questioning technique that zooms in on specifics before widening out to identify clear, achievable actions. The session also explores how to build a culture of prepared coaching conversations, where team members take ownership of their thinking and arrive ready to engage.
Participants will leave with a practical framework they can use immediately to run sharper, more effective coaching conversations. They will gain confidence in structuring dialogue, uncovering root causes and agreeing actions that stick – supporting faster progress, stronger accountability and a more consistent coaching culture across their teams.
