More Information

Generating ideas is a core element of problem solving and continuous improvement. After all, without ideas, there is no innovation! Ideation tools can help to spark more unexpected, exciting and diverse ideas, so that we can find creative solutions that are still profitable and productive. By improving the capacity for idea generation, it can help drive creativity throughout the team.

The workshop will explore specific techniques that we can use to generate a diverse range of ideas. It examines the role of play, curiosity and divergent thinking, and how these can be used to overcome barriers to creativity and consider how we can boost these at work. Participants will be introduced to various ideation tools, and learn how to select the best technique for generating ideas in any situation. They will also learn how to adapt the techniques to best suit their own way or working. Finally, the workshop explores some top tips to facilitate more focused and free ideation sessions, leaving participants with a better understanding of the value and power of ideation and a bank of tools to structure their own ideation sessions.
