Getting Feedback

According to a recent Gallup survey, only 15% of millennials reported that they routinely asked for feedback, yet they also acknowledged the value in regular feedback. This workshop helps participants ask for feedback in a way that makes it easier for the giver to provide more insightful feedback that is also unpackable.

More Information

Getting feedback is essential for helping us to develop and grow, but sometimes it can be hard to seek out, and hard to take. When it comes to it- the process doesn’t always elicit a decent response- advice can be hard to hear. To focus on getting feedback that is detailed and actionable it is important to make it easy for a manager or peer to give it to you. Throughout the workshop, teams will explore how to ask for and receive feedback in a way that makes providing a useful and specific response much easier!

The workshop focuses on the whole process of getting feedback in a before, during and after approach. Participants will explore the range of sources that they could ask for it, and how best to approach them to maximise their chances of getting useful information. In turn, they will also discover how they can aid the provider to give better quality feedback. By exploring the unhelpful ways that they may react to it, participants can identify their individual obstacles to an honest response. Finally, the workshop will focus on unpacking the advice received and how best to utilise it to maximise performance.
