More Information
Virtual and hybrid meetings have increased significantly as flexible working becomes the norm and technology continues to evolve. While these formats offer clear benefits, from global collaboration to reduced travel, they also demand a different approach from traditional face-to-face meetings.
Many organisations experience common challenges: unfocused agendas, uneven participation between in-person and remote attendees, camera fatigue, and meetings that feel more transactional than collaborative. Without intentional design and facilitation, hybrid meetings can unintentionally favour those in the room and disengage those joining virtually.
This workshop explores how to plan and prepare meetings effectively, choose the right meeting format, and design hybrid setups that support fairness and engagement. Participants learn how to set expectations around virtual etiquette, structure meetings clearly, and create meaningful interaction – even across mixed audiences.
By the end of the session, participants leave with practical, immediately applicable strategies they can use to run more focused, engaging and inclusive meetings. The result is better use of time, stronger collaboration, and meetings that genuinely support work getting done — wherever people are located.
