More Information
Multigenerational teams are now the norm in many organisations, bringing together a wide range of experiences, expectations and working styles. When these differences are understood and valued, they become a powerful source of insight, innovation and performance. Inclusive multigenerational working supports stronger collaboration, better decision-making and more engaged teams.
Yet generational differences can also create friction. Stereotypes, assumptions and unspoken expectations may shape how people communicate with, or make judgements about, others. Without awareness, these patterns can lead to misunderstandings, reduced trust and missed opportunities to benefit from the diversity within the team.
This workshop helps participants move beyond labels and build more effective multigenerational working relationships. Participants will explore common generational trends while learning to focus on the individual behind the label. Through reflection, discussion and practical scenarios, they will examine how motivations, life stage and working preferences influence behaviour, and develop strategies for adapting communication and collaboration more flexibly.
Participants will leave with greater empathy, awareness and practical actions they can apply immediately. They gain confidence in navigating generational differences, strengthening relationships and creating a more inclusive team culture — enabling their teams to make better use of the diverse perspectives and strengths around them.
