More Information
Even the most perfectly planned project can fall apart if the people-side isn’t managed well. It can be easy to focus on process when getting to grips with project management, but people skills like communication and leadership are just as important.
Many managers end up leading projects, often without having had the chance to develop the skills needed to lead a project team successfully. This can impact cohesion and efficiency, increasing the risk of projects getting off-track.
In workshop, we focus on how to manage people during projects. Participants learn how to identify and manage stakeholders, set clear roles and responsibilities and create a shared sense of ownership within the team. They explore how to choose the right communication channels, maintain visibility and approachability and adapt leadership styles to different situations.
Participants leave knowing how to foster a collaborative team culture where everyone understands their part in the bigger picture and is motivated to deliver their best work.
This workshop is delivered as part two of our two-part Project Management series, designed to be taken alongside “Part 1: Process” for the complete skillset.
