More Information
It can be tricky to spot when a simple task becomes a project that needs deliberate, structured project management – yet the skills involved are very different. Most managers lead projects regularly, sometimes without even realising it and often without the chance to build the skills that make the difference between smooth delivery and a stressful scramble.
When project management is not underpinned by robust processes that support planning, execution and delivery, progress can quickly get off-track. This increases the risk of delays and can impact budget, efficiency and stakeholder relations.
In this workshop, participants learn how to set their projects up for success from day one. We cover how to define scope, avoid common pitfalls and build a practical framework to take projects from planning through to execution and closing. Participants explore tools for tracking progress, holding their team accountable and dealing with the unexpected – all while keeping stakeholders informed and engaged.
Participants leave with clear steps they can apply straight away to their own projects, plus techniques for reviewing and learning from each one they run.
This workshop is delivered as part one of our two-part Project Management series, designed to be taken alongside “Project Management: People” for the complete skillset.
