More Information

Sustained pressure and frequent challenges are commonplace in many organisations, making resilience – the ability to adapt and recover – a critical skill. Ongoing demands, uncertainty and high expectations can test our team’s capacity to stay focused and effective at work. A resilient mindset helps individuals to maintain perspective, respond constructively to setbacks and continue performing even when things don’t go to plan.

The difficulty is that consistent pressure can chip away at resilience over time. Stressful situations often trigger automatic physical and emotional responses that make people feel overwhelmed and act reactively. Without awareness of these reactions, challenges can escalate quickly, affecting wellbeing, decision-making and working relationships.

This workshop explores the science behind resilience and stress, helping participants understand what happens in the body and mind when we feel under threat. Participants learn to recognise their early warning signs and practise techniques that support calmer, more considered responses. The session also introduces practical strategies for building and maintaining resilience, both in the moment and over the longer term.

By the end of the workshop, participants will have greater self-awareness and a toolkit they can use immediately. They will leave better equipped to navigate pressure and recover from setbacks – creating a steadier, more resilient approach to everyday challenges at work.
