Impact on

Your Organisation

  • Improved communication – establishing good practice around writing with AI supports sharper, clearer communication without the risk of dull, overly generic AI content.
  • More consistency of tone and structure – using AI writing tools supports consistency of written output across teams.
  • Greater efficiency – ensuring employees know how to get the most value from AI tools already in use means more time spent improving writing, not fixing it.

Workshop Participants

  • Explore how to brief AI effectively to create relevant, on-brand first drafts.
  • Learn how to edit, adapt, and refine AI outputs (rather than blindly copy-paste).
  • Practice adjusting tone, structure, and flow to match purpose and audience.
  • Leave with go-to prompts and techniques they can apply across different formats.

More Information

There’s a significant possibility that many members within your own team are using AI writing tools to compose and edit… but are they using them well? Writing with AI can feel like a quick hack, but the results can often be hit or miss. Some use it just to proofread. Others let it draft whole emails, only to copy and paste something that sounds nothing like them. The result? Content that’s often off-brand, too long, too stiff, or just plain forgettable.

This workshop helps fix that. It gives participants the skills to brief, adapt, and sharpen AI outputs so their writing becomes clearer, more impactful, and still sounds like them.

Rather than handing the task over to AI, participants will learn how to improve the quality of thinking and writing during the process of creating copy. They’ll learn how to use AI as a collaborative writing partner. This includes briefing it well, refining outputs, and tailoring tone, structure, and clarity for real impact.

If your organisation is already using AI to “speed things up”, this workshop helps ensure that what’s being produced is actually worth reading. By the end of the session, participants leave with hands-on experience and ready-to-use techniques that help them write faster, with better clarity and confidence.
