More Information
When done well, conversations around goal setting can establish a sense of shared purpose between the organisation, the individual and their team, boosting engagement, focus and performance. A healthy amount of stretch can see us achieve new highs that may not have otherwise felt possible, but too much stretch can see our goals, performance and wellbeing suffer – so there is a careful balance that must be struck. As the working climate shifts to newer, more flexible ways of working with increased focus on wellbeing and collaboration, it has never been more important to get this right.
This virtual workshop supports participants to learn how to undergo a process of goal setting that is meaningful and stretching for themselves and others, embracing more modern ways of working whilst striking that all important balance between stretch and strain. Importantly, this workshop shows participants how to set objectives that form part of regular discussions and updates throughout the year, positioning goal setting as an ongoing process and not one to be forgotten between review periods. Finally, participants will have the opportunity to apply learning to their own outcomes, so that they are fully equipped with the tools they need to start setting meaningful goals in the workplace.
